The Hyundai i20 has become one of the South Korean manufacturer’s most successful models since it was first presented in 2008. The third generation of the small car has been on our roads since 2020, and the Polo opponent has now been refreshed for the second half of its life cycle.
On the outside, the changes were marginal, but the now more dynamic front and the LED rear lights are noticeable. Both bumpers were modified. The color palette has also been expanded, the i20 is now more colorful – with a black roof on request. The special color scheme continues in the interior, for example in the seats and decorative stitching.

The five-door model, which is built in Turkey, takes a big step forward in infotainment: There is a 4.2-inch LCD on-board computer, several USB ports (Type A and C) and over-the-air updates as standard. A 10.25-inch screen, inductive charging and a Bose sound system are available on request – depending on the equipment selected.
Initially two petrol engines
Two engines are initially available: The entry-level model is an 84 hp four-cylinder petrol engine. The five aisles are sorted manually. At the top end there is a three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 100 hp. The gearshift is either manual (six gears) or using a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

The price list starts at 19,990 euros (i Line, 84 hp, five-speed manual) and currently goes up to 25,990 euros (Trend Line, 100 hp, dual clutch transmission).
Performance will be increased in the spring: the Hyundai i20 N Line will have a gasoline engine with 48-volt mild hybrid technology and an output of 120 hp. The importer is still silent regarding the price. (shoe)
