Franchise agreements for the first properties in Mobile, Alabama and Marysville, California were signed, highlighting Hyatt’s strategy of adding hotels in untapped markets where the brand presence is not yet established; groundbreaking for the Mobile, Alabama, facility is planned for the fourth quarter of 2023. Hyatt’s pipeline of select service brands is the fastest growing segment of Hyatt’s portfolio in the United States , as Hyatt continues to lead the industry globally with six years of the industry’s highest net room growth.
In 2023, as part of the expansion of the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House brands in the United States, Hyatt will welcome 14 new owners to the Hyatt family and expand existing Hyatt portfolios by five owners. This highlights Hyatt’s focus on creating value and ensuring strong ROI across all Hyatt hotels.
