Walker renewed his contract for an additional two years with Manchester City (X)
English club Manchester City announced today, Thursday, the renewal of the contract of its English player, Kyle Walker, for two additional seasons, until the summer of 2026.
Walker joined Manchester City in the summer of 2017, and has been a key contributor to the team’s achievements over the past 6 years.
Walker participated in 260 matches with City, during which he won 5 English Premier League titles, two FA Cup titles, 4 League Cup titles, two Charity Shield titles, a Champions League title, and the European Super Cup.
The English international’s contract with the Citizens was scheduled to expire at the end of the current season, but it was renewed for an additional two years.
The 33-year-old expressed his happiness at signing the new contract, saying: “I have enjoyed every moment of the past six years in this wonderful club.”
