Huawei has announced an 18-karat gold edition of its Watch Ultimate. A model which will be offered at a price of 2999 euros.

During an event organized this Thursday in Barcelona, for the launch of its new range of connected watches, the Huawei Watch GT 4, the Chinese manufacturer took the opportunity to unveil a new version of its premium watch launched at the start of year, the Huawei Watch Ultimate.
The Chinese firm has unveiled an edition “Gold» of its watch, with a revised and corrected design, and above all the integration of 18-carat gold elements in the case, the metal bracelet and the rotating crown.
Remember that the Huawei Watch Ultimate is Huawei’s most high-end watch, allowing use in particular for scuba diving. It is thus designed in zirconium, a metal which remains present on this gold edition, alongside 18-carat gold.
Identical features, but an astronomical price
For the rest of the characteristics, apart from the material and design, nothing differentiates this new watch from the version launched in the spring. We will find the same technical characteristics, the same sensors and the same autonomy.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate was already launched at a particularly high price in April, at 799 euros. A price which allowed the Chinese firm to position it as a competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra. For this golden edition, Huawei is playing the luxury card to the fullest and will offer its watch in France at a price of 2,999 euros.
