Need to know more regarding these 3 themes before you decide? Here are the 3 summaries:

How to put an end to the hassle in transport?

TER late, buses at random times, park and ride full, getting around without a car in the Alpes Maritimes and the Var remains a major challenge. In 2021, a study carried out by INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies) established that for home-work travel, even on very short journeys, the use of the car remains in the majority. For journeys of more than 5 km, it represents more than three quarters of journeys. New tram line in the Nice metropolis, a train every ten minutes promised in 2050… there are numerous projects. But the promised projects drag on forever, when they are sometimes simply not set aside. What are the blocking points? Carpooling, intermodality, solutions exist but how can we make them effective? We have one month to investigate.

How to break the ghettos?

In 2016, the #solutions editorial team at Nice-Matin/Var-Matin was already asking this question. For a month, our investigation explored, in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var, individual and political journeys of the city in the so-called “sensitive” cities of our territories. What is the situation 7 years later, especially in the followingmath of urban riots which shook many districts of France? How can we fight once morest drug trafficking but also poor housing and the problems of downgrading which continue to plague many “city policy” territories? During this month of investigation, we will take the pulse of the neighborhoods, their actors on the ground, their residents to update avenues for improvement.

How can we reinvent our relationship with work?

According to a recent Ifop survey, carried out in 2023, 58% of French people consider work above all as a necessary constraint to meet their needs, an increase of 9 points compared to 2006. Remuneration, working atmosphere and interest of the missions carried out are in the trio of head of the sources of fulfillment in his professional life. And the cards have been considerably reshuffled since the Covid-19 pandemic, which brought employment to a halt in many sectors. While the controversial pension reform has just come into force and the rate of sick leave in France is constantly increasing, reaching 5.76% in 2022, how can we review our relationship with our employment for a healthy relationship? private-professional life more harmonious? 4-day week, quest for meaning, new organizations (teleworking, etc.), participatory management… We have one month to investigate.
