It was to be a weekend of celebration and good deals for Tubizian traders and their customers. But the sale organized last Saturday and Sunday is far from having met expectations. The streets, although pedestrianized, remained almost deserted. And in some stores, we sold less than on a normal day, which is a shame.
The subject arose Monday evening at the municipal council, through an oral question from Benoît Langendries and Giovanni Capizzi (Communal Renewal). These two opposition elected officials consider that the failure of the clearance sale harmed the image of Tubize, in addition to generating frustration and discontent among traders. They therefore questioned the college regarding the reasons for this failure and the conditions under which the organizer obtained the necessary authorizations from the City.
