Regarding “Hikers found the body of a mountaineer who had probably been missing since 1971” (September 12th): Given this year’s weather conditions with warm temperatures up to over 5000 m, it is not surprising that the body of a mountaineer who has been missing for 52 years has been drained. Such finds at least have the advantage of providing clarity for relatives or relatives who are still alive.
Ötzi is probably the most spectacular find (following thousands of years).
