Stadler Rail Announces Benjamin Niederhauser as Head of Components Division and General Management Appointment

Zurich (awp) – Rolling stock manufacturer Stadler Rail announced on Wednesday the appointment of Benjamin Niederhauser as head of its Components division as of October 1. On this date, the thirty-year-old will also join the general management of the Thurgau group, specifies the press release.

He will succeed Christian Spichiger, who following having held various positions within Stadler over the past 21 years, will now focus on developing the current converter segment.

Currently deputy director of the Service division, Benjamin Niederhauser joined Stadler in 2016 as project manager. Holder of a master’s degree in economics from the University of Zurich, he began his career with the consulting firm KPMG.
