Samsung launched today (12), for the first time in the Brazilian market, SSD memory and storage devices, in SATA and NVMe variants for different consumer needs, such as professional content creators, gamers and heavy technology users, as well as photographers and Filmmakers looking to secure storage space on their PC, notebook or console, as well as increase the speed of their device. The portfolio also includes portable SSDs, which function as an external storage unit with high speed data transfer, in addition to memory cards. See below for more details regarding each product.
NVMe SSD drive
To support everyday files and information, Samsung launches SSD NVMe 980 in Brazil, and is aimed at desktop computers and notebooks with an M.2 connector. With storage options of 500GB and 1TB1, the model is ideal for users looking for a speed upgrade and greater memory capacity, offering efficiency for more intense work days, long games and heavy or large files.
Other Samsung memory and storage devices in Brazil
Ideal for users who want to upgrade their notebook or PC, Samsung’s SATA SSDs arrive in Brazil in two versions to promote high performance, greater speed and high storage capacity. O SSD 870 EVO SATA III offers 250GB or 500GB of storage, while the SSD 870 QVO SATA III offers 1TB, 2TB or 4TB. Both products have a sequential reading capacity of up to 560 MB/s and are compatible with desktop devices and notebooks with 2.5-inch bays with a SATA standard interface, the same one used by most hard drives on the market, replacing these components with advantages.
To transfer files and documents quickly and conveniently, Samsung brings two models of portable SSD to Brazil. With an elegant and compact design, the PSSD T7 Titan offers storage from 500GB to 1TB to take your files wherever you want. In addition to being light and small, the product offers easy transfer of smartphone files, such as heavy photos and videos, using just a USB Type-C cable. Already the PSSD T7 Shield offers 1TB, 2TB and 4TB storage and an IP65 rating, which guarantees resistance to water and dust, making it ideal for outdoor work, whether you are a filmmaker or a photographer who works with a large volume of high-resolution files, such as videos and photos in 4K and 8K. The devices are available in Brazil starting this Tuesday (12) in Samsung’s physical and online stores, as well as in the country’s main retailers.
