At 4:35 p.m., the 21-year-old from Linz wanted to cross the tram rail line as a pedestrian on Ennsfeldstrasse near the intersection with Traklweg. After he let a tram pass in the direction out of town, he got on the tracks and overlooked a tram in oncoming traffic that was heading towards the city. The Linzer was caught by the equipment and thrown to the ground. He was admitted to Med Campus III with serious injuries.
