A budget of 5.4 million euros is necessary for the company to reach its profitability threshold. This amount includes in particular the acquisition price of Flink France, amounting to approximately 500,000 euros. The buyers wish to refocus the activity “on the most operational sites”, “massify volumes” and significantly reduce fixed costs. Guillaume Luscan explains that he will focus on “improving the customer experience through expanding the offering and adding new features to the application”.
Of the 19 existing sites in France, 14 will be retained, in the cities of Paris, Lyon, Lille, Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Nantes. The stated objective is to close “as a priority” those targeted by the complaints of local residents and elected officials, due to the incessant comings and goings of delivery people.
