O Pixelmator Pro won today a new update (version 3.4) with several new features focused on editing PDF files. The file editing engine in this application format has been redesigned, now offering new features that promise to make the photo editor even more complete and powerful.
You can initially import PDF files with multiple pages and select the one you want to edit, also choosing the resolution and page size. You can also, running macOS 12 or newer, import files vectorizedwith shapes and image elements as layers, or import so that all layers are merged.

PDFs created in Apple apps, such as Safari and those in the iWork suite (Pages, Numbers and Keynote), are also compatible with Pixelmator Pro, allowing you to edit them with more precision, but importing them the way they were on the screen. be saved.
