We’re now less than a month away from the premiere of Forza Motorsport, which releases on PC and Xbox on October 10 (if you pre-order the premium version, you’ll likely get a five-day head start). Today, Microsoft and Turn 10 revealed several new aspects of the game, including graphics. As it turns out, racing gamers will be able to choose from three visual modes, including one that offers racing at up to 4K and in-game ray tracing at 60 FPS; Performance (prioritizing 60FPS and full 4K resolution), Performance Ray Tracing (60FPS with in-race ray Racing and Dynamic 4K) and Visuals (30FPS, but with full 4K resolution and in-race ray tracing). For Xbox Series S, there are two options to choose from, but unfortunately, neither of them support ray tracing. Digital Foundry’s Jon Linneman shared proof of ray tracing in the game on the Ray tracing is being used in the game!
