Almost 1,000 people and more than 60 institutions participated in the final day of the Raase Provincial Plenary (Santiago del Estero Addiction Approach Network) “We Are All Protagonists”, which brought together key actors and territorial policies on addictions in the Technological NODE.
The welcoming words were given by Prof. Claudia Tarchini, director of Digaia, and Prof. Javier Manzano, president of the Nocka Munayki Foundation, who thanked the institutions and public present for their commitment and support in the problem of addictions, accompanied by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Matilde O’mill who expressed: “La Raase is the great social fabric that Santiago del Estero has to be able to respond in a supportive and community way to such an important problem that hits us all. all as a family, as people, as a community and as a society. None of us is as strong as all of us together, and that is the great virtue of this network.”
Also present were the Minister of Education, Mariela Nasif; the Secretary of Justice and Human Rights, Daniela Águila; the general defender of the Public Ministry of Defense, Enrique Billaud; the Judge of Criminal Execution, Rubén Seiler, and the president of the General Council of Education, María Elena Herrera.
Starting the day, the different commissions presented the goals and agreements planned for the year 2024, ending with the presentation of those who participated in the Youth Protagonists Plenary. As a finishing touch, the plenary was attended by two international exponents regarding to the topic: Dr. Fabiola Rey, who participated especially from Colombia, and Dr. Alfredo Carballeda, who arrived in the province to participate in this historic day, spoke on “The problem of substance consumption and the challenge of working in network in complex scenarios”.
The Addiction Addressing Network of Santiago del Estero is established with strong foundations as a space for meeting and collective construction, to contribute, strengthen and organize the capacity to respond to this problem throughout the provincial territory.
