Lotus and Fauna confirmed the rescheduling of Morrissey’s concert in Chile, due to the health status of the former lead singer of The Smiths.
This Monday followingnoon the rescheduling of the British artist’s concert was confirmed, Morrisseydue to the singer’s state of health.
This was confirmed by the production company in charge of the event, which indicated that they are working to reschedule the show in Chilee.
Both Lotus and Fauna indicated on their social networks that “We regret to inform that Morrissey’s concert scheduled for September 21 at Movistar Arena will be postponed”.
In the statement attached to the publication, they indicate that it will be rescheduled due to illness. “Both his team and the local production “We regret the inconvenience of this fortuitous situation.”adds the statement.
This is not the only concert that the former vocalist of The Smiths cancels on his tour of Latin America, since he previously canceled his concerts in Mexico City and Buenos Aires, both due to “an illness during the tour”.
Although it has not been specified what illness the artist had contracted, international media indicate that it might be dengue, something that the artist or his representative have not officially confirmed.
