With his scores in the 61st and 90th+3 minutes, the 31-year-old attacker reached 79 goals in 125 games, compared to the 77 goals scored by ‘O rei’ in 92 games played between 1957 and 1971.
Attacker Marta (122 goals in 189 duels), 37 years old, is the top scorer for both teams.
Edson Arantes do Nascimento, considered by many the best footballer in history and who died in December at the age of 82, claimed 95 scores in 113 games.
