India informed Canada regarding Khalistan concern

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with more than 15 world leaders on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday, the last day of the G20 summit, the discussion took place during lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and others were present.

Emmanuel Macron says that Vasudhaiva belongs to the family

French President Emmanuel Macron shared a picture on his X account embracing Modi, referring to the G20 summit concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam’. The motto of the G20 is One Earth, One Family, One Future. Risks from divisions are increasing worldwide. Therefore, the French President made it clear that dialogue with the economic powers of all continents is essential.

Modi’s response was that it was a constructive meeting. Many issues were discussed. It was also informed that an agreement was reached to ensure that India-France relations climb to new heights of progress.

Khalistan concern

In the discussion with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, it was agreed to increase cooperation. He also shared India’s concern over growing Khalistan terrorism in Canada.

Marathon meetings

Modi congratulated African Union President Assali Azoumani for joining the G20 family. Modi stated that it was a fruitful meeting and that cooperation with Comoros will be increased in areas such as sea freight and trade.

After his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Modi said that they discussed ways to strengthen trade relations and infrastructure development between India and Turkey.

A meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholes discussed how to work together for a better Earth. Cooperation will be enhanced in energy sector and innovation.

Modi also met UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Republic of South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa, Argentina President Alberto Fernandez and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at a dinner on Saturday.
