At the beginning of September, the Gold Edition of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag received a significant discount on Steam. The promotion was to last until September 10. It’s only September 5 (according to SteamDB) that the game was no longer available for purchase, but Ubisoft explained the reason for these drastic changes.

Some players started to think that a remake of the game was coming and that was the reason why Black Flag was removed from sale, but in an interview with PC Gamer, Ubisoft explained everything.
We know that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is currently not available for purchase on Steam. This is due to a technical issue, and our teams are working on a solution to get it back on sale as soon as possible.
My city had already mentioned this summer the remake of one of the best Assassin’s Creed games, but development is only in its early stages. Fans will therefore have to wait a few more years.
If you want to buy Black Flag on PlayStation 4/5, you can now benefit from a 60% reduction regarding the game. If you own an Xbox, the game East also available at a reduced price. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is also available as part of the PlayStation Plus Extra subscription.
