Fancy, French rock group
Appearing in the early 2000s, the French rock group Fancy had everything to get noticed: flamboyant concerts, tight and outrageously sexy stage clothes, between Gary Glitter, the New York Dolls and a Blaxploitation film, an orgy kitsch guitars, half-glam, half-funk, and the behavior of a superstar, notably Jessie Chaton (which is his authentic surname), an inveterate showman with a high-pitched tone who subsequently composed for Justice or Rinôcérôse. However, their first album, Kings of the Worlds, with a cover just as shimmering as their songs, did not interest many people when it was released in 2007. Since then, the group has released a second album, Fancy Machine in 2015, following a break, but without much success either. It seems that no one ever took them seriously. Damage.

What further complicates the existence of Fancy is that many of them have used the same name, and sometimes they are artists largely as colorful as our glam-rockers of the year 2000.
