New Delhi | India on Saturday announced the launch of the Global Biofuel Alliance. Speaking at the G20 summit session on ‘One Earth’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed the launch of the ‘G20 Satellite Mission for Environment and Climate Monitoring’ and urged the leaders to start working on the Green Credit Initiative.
Modi also said that all countries should work together in the area of fuel mix. Blending of up to 20 percent ethanol in petrol requires a global initiative. Or, we can try to develop a different mix for the global good,” Modi said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Global Biofuel Alliance’ in the presence of US President Joe Biden, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Brazilian President Luis Inacio, Argentine President Alberto Fernandez and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
