Baldur’s Gate III has been taking PC gaming by storm, and now that it’s available on PS5, players are wondering when the two platforms will be able to join forces for some adventures. Cross-platform play isn’t quite ready yet, but Larian has given an update on when it will arrive. In an interview with Larians publishing director Eurogamer, Michael Douse said cross-platform play was always part of the plan. “It was always in the plan,” he said. “But we know it’s not going to be for launch. It’s on the roadmap, and while we know when it’s going to be ready, we don’t want to put a date on it until we know for sure. So, nothing concrete yet, But there does seem to be a plan for PC and PS5 players to adventure together as soon as possible. So far we’ve seen two major patches bring some big changes to the game. Hopefully before or following its planned Xbox release later this year At some point, we might see cross-platform play coming to Baldur’s Gate III.
