Saudi Arabia’s Humanitarian Assistance: Providing Support to 160 Countries Worldwide

Dammam: The Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs has said that Saudi Arabia has been able to provide assistance to 160 countries in the world in humanitarian matters. The minister also said that Saudi Arabia has spent 9.5 billion dollars for this in the last seven decades.

Saudi’s approach is to come forward as a volunteer at the stages of humanitarian consideration. Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Waleed Al-Khariji said that Saudi Arabia has been able to provide humanitarian and development aid to 160 countries in the past 70 years. The minister also stated that the country has already spent 950 crore dollars for this.

The minister was speaking at the 160th session of the Foreign Ministerial Council at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. The main concern of Saudi Arabia is to maintain peace in Central Asia. The minister also said that negotiations will be encouraged to reach a just and comprehensive solution according to the aspirations of the Palestinian people. The minister condemned Israel’s unilateral attacks that undermine the peace process.
