In his speech, Li Hongzhong warmly congratulated North Korea on the 75th anniversary of its founding, saying that maintaining, consolidating and developing China-North Korea relations has always been the unswerving policy of the Chinese party and government. China is willing to work with the DPRK to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and two countries and promote greater development of China-DPRK relations.
Ri Yong-nam, the North Korean ambassador to China, said that North Korea is willing to work with China to continuously consolidate and develop the traditional friendly cooperative relations between North Korea and China and promote new achievements in the socialist construction of the two countries.
