A number of management positions are being filled at the KURIER media company
Vienna (OTS) – Wolfgang Unterhuber (previously head of the economics department) becomes head of topics and the new additional day-to-day head and, with these functions, also a member of the editor-in-chief
Philipp Wilhelmer (previously deputy head of the culture department) will be the new head of digital topics
Robert Kleedorfer (previously deputy economics department head) succeeds Unterhuber as economics department head, his deputy becomes KURIER business editor Anita Staudacher
Agnes Preusser (previously deputy Chronik department head) becomes the new Chronik boss
Ingrid Steiner (previously KURIER Brussels correspondent) will be the new head of foreign policy, the previous head of department Andrew Black moves to the Sunday department and remains as a central political commentator and interviewer
Peter Temelmedia editor in the culture department, takes over management of the debate pages
“The KURIER is starting the fall with momentum and strong personalities. The fact that we can fill such central positions from within the company shows which top journalists work here. The editorial team is well prepared for the coming election year,” says editor-in-chief Martina Salomon.
