A Apple will promote a workshop for developers focusing on the use of company tools to increase performance and optimize applications. The event will take place on the day September 27th — following the company’s next special event on 9/12 — and it will be free, with no prior registration required.

According to emails sent by the company to developers, the idea will be “to learn and discover new ways to improve the experience of using apps by increasing their performance”. To do so, ways of optimization will be taught, including using tools such as Xcode Organizer and the Instruments.

Developers will also be able to better understand and receive tips on how to solve problems that hinder the performance of the apps, such as decreasing app opening time, issues related to memory usage, among others. It will be possible to test the apps in the workshop itself and receive immediate support.

Apple engineers will be present at the event, so developers will have a good opportunity to ask questions and take notes regarding their apps. The workshop will take place at Apple Developer Centerwhich is located in Apple Park in Cupertino and opened last year.

The event should also take place close to the launch of the iOS 17, so developers attending the workshop will also be able to get tips related to Apple’s newest systems. The sessions will last all day and, with the Developer Center’s state-of-the-art structure, should be quite thorough indeed.
