The boss of SpaceX and X (ex-Twitter) confirms that he refused to activate the Starlink signal, thus preventing Ukrainian drones from destroying the fleet of Moscow in Crimea.
Elon Musk breaks the silence. The billionaire explained on his social network X, ex-Twitter, on an element made public of his biography to appear written by Walter Isaacson. In this book, it is stated that Elon Musk personally prevented a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian naval fleet in Crimeaasking SpaceX engineers to cut off the Starlink signal.

Elon Musk pleaded for a truce to be signed by kyiv and Moscow. “Every day that passes, more young Ukrainians and young Russians are dying to gain and lose a few small areas, the borders barely changing,” laments the boss of X.

A few hours earlier, Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian president, thanked him for this decision.

The billionaire has repeatedly mentioned the war in Ukraine since the start of the conflict in February 2022, in particular by offering his help to Ukrainians thanks to his Starlink satellite system.
Last October, he had also distinguished himself by proposing a peace plan on his social networks. Elon Musk proposed to redo the annexation referendums of the eastern regions of Ukraine, but this time under the supervision of the UN. He also suggested recording the neutrality of Ukraine and the definitive attachment of Crimea to Russia.
