Al-Marsad Newspaper: Nutrition consultant Dr. “Abdulaziz Al-Othman” revealed, in a video clip, the benefits of eating “fennel” to treat many diseases, including diabetes, improving brain function and getting rid of harmful cholesterol.

Dr. Abdulaziz said: Fennel is the key to health for those suffering from heart diseases, high cholesterol, digestive system problems, menstrual problems, nervous problems, and skin problems.

On how to use it, Al-Othman indicated that it is used by placing one tablespoon of fennel seeds in a liter of hot water and covering it, then eating it following 10 minutes without sweetening it with sugar.

He added: Fennel is suitable for diabetics, and it tastes excellent and smells good for the mouth. It also contains magnesium, potassium, calcium and many vitamins that are beneficial to the body.
