The day before, the Colombian president asked the judicial authority to investigate the intimidation that had been carried out once morest Andrea Petro and that she herself denounced through her account on the X social network, formerly called Twitter.

In response, the judicial authority indicated on Wednesday that through the Threat Group of the Specialized Directorate once morest Human Rights Violations “opened a criminal notice and is carrying out the corresponding investigative work to determine who is behind the intimidation” of Andrea Petro.

The president’s daughter published a message that would have reached her on Instagram in which a person identified as David Esteban Prado would have written: “I hope they kill you for HPT.”

“Do you feel good sending me these messages every day? Does it seem normal and rational to you? They have so much hatred and frustration that they don’t even know the seriousness of what they say. We cannot continue to normalize violence, ”said Andrea Petro in her complaint on the social network.

The president also asked the Attorney General’s Office on Wednesday to investigate other threats, this time once morest the director of the Special Assets Society (SAE), Daniel Rojas.

The SAE is the entity in charge of managing the assets that are seized from illegal groups and that have been acquired with resources from irregular activities. After a legal process, these assets are expropriated from the criminals and passed to the SAE to manage them.

Petro stated that Rojas was intimidated and published a message from X with the alleged intimidation.
