Update (09/06/2023) – LR

A AYANEO this week began receiving the first orders for Pocket AIR, a portable console launched in early July with the Android 12 operating system and the Dimensity 1200 platform — octa-core up to 3 GHz and 6 nm lithography — with the Mali-G77 MP9 GPU , specifications that are not the most powerful of MTK, but which should ensure high performance.

In addition to the powerful processor, the video game also stands out for bringing a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD image resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The brand did not reveal the maximum autonomy, but confirms the presence of a battery with 7,350 mAh capacity. The entire console weighs only 380 grams.

As determined by AllCellular, the model can be found on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo, costing from US$ 279, regarding R$ 1,390 in direct conversion, in the most basic version with 6 GB/128 GB. This value is valid for the first 100 units, with the official value without discount being R$ 1,590.

the portable console AYANEO Pocket AIR finally had some more details revealed. After a few months since the device was announced by the brand, we can already have access to more information regarding its technical specifications, according to what the company itself has released.

In general, it is the first device in this category with Android made by the company, which usually launches products more focused on consoles that rival Steam Deck. For example, the latest announced by the brand is the Air Plus, which stands out for being equipped with a recent Ryzen chip, promising more performance.

Back to Pocket AIR, the handheld console’s specs include a 5.5 AMOLED screen, plus the addition of analog sticks with Hall Sensor and Hall triggers. The device still has a fingerprint sense and battery with a capacity of 7,350mAh, in addition to weighing 380 g.

The device will arrive equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 platform. It is not the most powerful chip currently available from the brand, but it is enough to offer a lot of firepower to run several games from the Play Store, in addition to performing well in emulation.

The Pocket AIR’s RAM and internal storage capacities have yet to be revealed. In addition, it will arrive with Android 12 with the brand’s own interface and the price should be presented soon. After all, the pre-sale period for the product will start later this month, with shipments starting in August.
