RG405V: new portable console from ANBERNIC launched with Unisoc T618 chip and IPS screen

To score ANBERNIC launched a new Gameboy-shaped handheld. It’s regarding the RG405V, which is obviously not the same as the RG405M, released in March of this year. Still, both devices share some similarities such as the platform responsible for GPU and GPU processing.

As already mentioned, the new device from the company left aside the PSP-style look and features a 4-inch IPS LCD screen with 640 x 480 resolution. of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC-type internal storage.

An interesting detail regarding this model is that it arrives with 5,500mAh of battery capacity, 1,000mAh more compared to the RG405M. According to estimates by ANBERNIC itself, the product manages to deliver an autonomy that surpasses the other model mentioned in two hours, reaching 9 hours of use with a single charge.

Other features include Hall-type joysticks, gyroscope and a small fan to take care of the cooling part of the item’s chip. It is worth mentioning that the cheapest version of the portable console does not come with a slot for expanding storage using microSD cards.

Availability and price


The new RG405V is now available on the company’s official website for the price of US$ 129,99 (BRL 689.90). The company is also offering more expensive versions with more internal storage and a microSD slot. In this way, the product may cost US$ 159,99 (R$ 849,90).
