On Tuesday, September 5, FIFA will raffle the duels of the Club World Cup 2023which will be held from December 12 to 22 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), with the participation of seven teams, including Manchester City and Club León, winners of the UEFA Champions League and the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League, respectively.

They will be joined by the winner of the 2022 edition of the Asian Champions League (AFC), the Japanese Urawa Reds, and those of the 2022-2023 African Champions League (CAF), the Egyptian Al Ahly, and Oceania (OFC). ; New Zealand’s Auckland City, together with the host team, last winner of the Arab League, Al Ittihad FC.

The list of participants will be completed by the representative of CONMEBOL, champion of the Copa Libertadores, a competition still in play in the semifinal phase, in which the first legs will be Fluminense (BRA)-Internacional (BRA) and Boca Juniors (ARG). )-Palmeiras (BRA) the next days 28 and 29.

FIFA confirmed that the first tie will face Al Ittihad and Auckland City on the 12th.

The CONMEBOL winner will debut on the 18th and the UEFA Champions League winner, Manchester City, the following day.
