MIAMI, Florida.- Samuel De Jesus Cartagena, a 20-year-old man from Miami-Dade County, was arrested for a stabbing attack and is facing charges of aggravated assault and assault with battery, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reported. .
The incident took place along the beach at Gilbert’s Resort in Key Largo at approximately 12:18 p.m. Sunday.
According to the police report, Cartagena physically assaulted a woman before threatening to kill another man by holding a knife to his throat.
This episode was captured on video by surveillance cameras located in the area, allowing authorities to obtain solid evidence to support the charges brought once morest Cartagena.
Given the seriousness of the facts, the responding officers proceeded to arrest Samuel De Jesus Cartagena and transferred him to jail, where he remained in police custody.

At this time, he is at the disposal of the authorities while the investigation is carried out.
