After the death of rapper Lefty SM, named Juan Carlos Sauceda, became known, different versions began to circulate regarding the circumstances in which his death would have occurred.
Despite the fact that at first there was talk of a possible assault attempt, official reports shared by the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office revealed that his murder was the result of a direct attack.
Through a statement, the corporation explained that around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, three subjects circumvented the security of the La Cima subdivision in Zapopan, where Lefty SM lived, and went to his home.
Upon arriving at the property, located on the avenue with the same name in the neighborhood, the attackers entered by force and, without saying a word, took the rapper by force and tried to remove him from the house.
Because they failed to do so, the attackers shot him at least twice and, moments later, fled in a vehicle without license plates.
The preliminary report of the Prosecutor’s Office indicated that María Isabel, a sentimental partner of Lefty SM, was in the house at the time the violent raid occurred.
In addition to this, a police report from the Zapopan Police Station indicated that the detonations were heard from the surveillance booth. The personnel in charge of security might only notice the white color of the car used by the alleged murderers to escape, but they might not identify which direction they took.
According to the first reports, María Isabel was the one who took Lefty SM in her truck to the Hospital Real San José so that they might provide him with the corresponding care, since he had at least two wounds: one in his right leg and another in his abdomen. .

However, Lefty SM did not manage to survive and his death was notified to the Public Ministry around 01:15 on September 3, inside the hospital where he had been admitted.
Upon being notified of the facts, elements of the Prosecutor’s Office went to the medical unit and requested that the experts from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences fix the evidence located to integrate them into the investigation folder.
Similarly, the rapper’s body was sent to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) for a legal necropsy to be officially identified.
