Colombo: As there is a possibility of heavy rain, it is reported that the Super Four matches of the Asia Cup Cricket may be shifted from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Five Super Four matches and the final will be held in Colombo.

But the Asian Cricket Council has released indications that the venue may be changed due to heavy rain. The Super Four matches will start on September 9. Reports indicate that the rains will be heavy in Colombo till mid-September.

With this, the Asian Cricket Council may discuss with the Sri Lanka Cricket Board and the Pakistan Cricket Board and take a decision to change the venue. But the Sri Lankan cricket authorities have clarified that an international match cannot be held in Dambulla in such a short time. With this, there is concern regarding the venue of the Asia Cup.
