Silvina Luna died at the age of 43, following the ordeal she suffered as a result of malpractice by Aníbal Lotocki. Her family decided to disconnect her from the intensive care respirator at the Italian Hospital, where she was hospitalized for 79 days.
Firing her meant great heartbreak for her inner circle. Hours following her departure, her friends recounted how they lived that moment next to her: “Little by little they took away the assistance, and that’s how it faded away.”

“Everyone touching her, giving her love, putting mantras on her, holding hands and telling her that everything was fine…”, explained Analía and Eugenia in dialogue with A la Barbarossa (Telefe). “Her farewell to her was beautiful, within all the pain we felt, because she was surrounded by all her friends and her brother,” they said.

“It was terrible to see his agony,” said one of them. Both took turns with Ezequiel to be close to Silvina and accompany her during her hospitalization. “The moments of lucidity to see himself in a body that did not work for him, the desperation of not being able to move forward to get out of there was tremendous,” added Analía.
About the last hours of Luna, Guillermo Lobo had confirmed this Thursday on the air of TN: “She had life support that maintained her heart rate, but they disconnected her and within two to three hours she died.”

When asked by Georgina Barbarossa regarding Luna’s condition, Eugenia broke down when she remembered the physical pain that her friend had suffered recently. “It was very strong to see her like this … with the little that she might speak, she told us that she mightn’t take it anymore, that she was horrible and she wondered a lot why this was happening,” she said through tears.

Silvina’s friend revealed: “We felt that at some point she was preparing all of us little by little.” Along these lines, Eugenia indicated that Luna talked a lot with her friends and asked them not to leave Ezequiel, her brother, alone. The woman also expressed that it was very difficult for the actress to move and that she “watched movies and listened to Luis Miguel and meditation recordings.”
With a broken voice, Analía added: “She came to tell me that she wanted to transcend, that she mightn’t take being in that sick body anymore and accompanying her at that moment was immense pain.”
