A delegation from the Etihad Rail Company was briefed on the best practices applied in the Community Police Department in the Community Security Sector of Abu Dhabi Police and its role in crime prevention.
Colonel Saif Ali Al Jabri, Deputy Director of the Community Police Department, met with the visiting delegation headed by Dr. Mohammed Al Mansouri, Director of Government Relations at Etihad Rail.
The delegation learned regarding the mechanism of community police work, the most important experiences in the field of community initiatives and awareness campaigns, the mechanism for implementing events and campaigns with internal and external partners, and the diversity of awareness methods provided to the public, which aims to enhance and raise the level of security and community awareness among various segments of society, in addition to activating partnership community and the role of the individual in combating crime, and consolidating the concept of positive citizenship.
The head of the delegation praised the efforts of the Community Police Department, and expressed Etihad Rail’s interest and keenness to enhance cooperation with Abu Dhabi Police in awareness campaigns that are implemented throughout the year.
