Since the Apple Watch Series 3, Apple has offered versions of the smartwatch with connection to cellular networks (which it arrives GPS + Cellular).
Thus, it is possible to take advantage of the use of various functions of the watch even at those times when the iPhone is not around – such as taking advantage of the huge catalog of songs from Apple Music and making / receiving calls, for example.
From watchOS 9, the company began to allow you to disable, in addition to the cellular network as a whole, only cellular data. Thus, you can keep only the cellular network activated and make and receive calls, but without the data being used by other apps.
See how to proceed! ⌚️
Disabling cellular data through Control Center
Open Control Center on Apple Watch (by swiping in from the bottom of the watch face, or holding your finger and swiping up if you’re inside an app). Then tap the cellular network icon and uncheck “Cellular Data”. Select “OK” to save.
Turning off cellular data through Settings
Open Settings, tap “Cellular” and uncheck “Cellular Data”.
Simple, isn’t it?! ????
