Every day, hundreds of properties change hands in Quebec, most of them without knowing the fine details. That was before anyone got interested in it… Here are the latest transactions that caught our attention.
A luxurious two-story residence, owned by a citizen of Swiss nationality, has just been sold for $2.2 million, on the outskirts of Lac Saint-Joseph, near Quebec City.
The property is located at 6019 route Fossambault, in Fossambault-sur-le-Lac, regarding forty kilometers from Quebec. In addition to a vast solarium, the property offers on two floors five bedrooms, two bathrooms, two fireplaces, a private beach and a pontoon-type boat.

The property and part of its construction are in a flood zone and no construction. Jacques Charles Renevey bought it in November 2019 for $1.3 million.
Less than four years later, it went on sale for $2.4M. A purchase offer of $2.2 million, or 70% more than four years earlier, was accepted.
At the last assessment roll, this residence was valued at $1.31 million. In 2023, its municipal taxes amount to $13,407. A transfer tax of $31,343 is added to the purchase price for buyers.
