The summer holidays are coming to an end and this Monday, schoolchildren, middle and high school students will have to return to class. The day before, a few small preparations will allow them to relax and approach the start of the year more serenely.

Do some physical exercise
Through the production of endorphins in particular, the hormones of relaxation and pleasure, the practice of physical activity reduces the anxiety and stress inherent in the start of the school year. Getting some exercise – not too late in the day – will help your child clear their head and sleep better.

Prepare the business the day before
It is better to avoid sources of stress on the morning of the start of the school year. Among them, the choice of clothes which can quickly turn into a headache. The night before, a little walk through the wardrobe will save you time.
The same goes for the preparation of the schoolbag. A checklist of essential classroom supplies will avoid morning family conflicts.
The heavier the meal the day before, the longer and potentially more difficult digestion will be. This may affect the quality of sleep. We also avoid spicy dishes that lengthen digestion and disrupt body temperature, which makes it difficult to fall asleep. But also red meats which promote the production of adrenaline and dopamine, the hormones of awakening.

In the morning, a good breakfast
A well-balanced breakfast will help your child or your teenager not to be victim of a stroke during this first morning. Moreover, a British study recently showed that children who did not skip their breakfast had some meitheir notes. Ideally, this meal should consist of proteins (dairy product, egg, etc.) to arrive at lunch without fatigue; whole grains which will provide essential complex sugars, in other words the fuel necessary to go the distance; a fruit for its vitamins and its fast sugars and a drink to replenish the water stocks eliminated during the night.
