Alphawave IP Group plc (hereinfollowing AWE, the “Company” or “Alphawave Semi”), a global leader in high-speed connectivity to the world’s technology infrastructure, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Reeder as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective September 1, 2023. Following his appointment, David Reeder will become a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominating Committee.
David has served in senior finance and operational roles at global high-tech companies including: GlobalFoundries, Texas Instruments, Broadcom, Cisco and Lexmark. In October 2021, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GlobalFoundries, he led the largest semiconductor initial public offering (IPO) of all time (market cap IPO of $26 billion). Prior to GlobalFoundries, David served as CFO and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lexmark and as CEO of Tower Hill Insurance Group, a $1 billion private equity firm. He also served on Milacron’s Audit Committee and Transactions Committee during Milacron’s merger with Hillenbrand.
He has extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, supply chain management, engineering, manufacturing, IT systems, investor relations and risk management. In addition, he has proven experience as CFO and CEO in private and public companies.
