Record-Breaking Usos: The Longest Reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in History

2022-11-14 08:00:00

As you’ve known for a while, Monday, November 14, 2022 is a special day, especially for the WWE Tag Team Division.

Indeed, The Usos today shatter a record previously held by The New Day, and they now have the longest tag team reign in WWE history.

As a reminder, Jey and Jimmy Uso defeated Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on the last episode of SmackDown, and thus retained their tag team belts. If they had lost on Friday, the New Days would have kept their place.

It is therefore with the titles of SmackDown, which they have held since Money in the Bank 2021, the Usos, that as of today, they are at 484 days of reign, one day more than the reign New Day which started at SummerSlam 2015 and ended at Roadblock: End of the Line in 2016.

The Usos therefore become the longest team champions ahead of the New Day, the Demolition, the Hart Foundation, the Quebecers, and several other legendary sports entertainment tag teams.
