Call for more resources for child protection in schools – education

Vienna – An amendment to the School Instruction Act is intended to improve the protection of schoolchildren from physical, psychological and sexualized violence. For effective child protection, however, additional resources are needed for the schools, according to the tenor in the comments on the draft law by Education Minister Martin Polaschek (ÖVP), whose review period has just ended. The compulsory school union is once morest individual solutions for each location.
