Volunteer firefighters are working on a grass fire that affects the western area of Roca, a few meters from a house and the neighborhood known as House Vial.
The staff is struggling to control the flames that are getting dangerously close to some houses located in the vicinity of Villegas and Povedano.
Right now there are four crews trying to control the fire.
The neighbors are concerned because the wind complicates the tasks and carries the flames towards the housing area. That is why they decided to start watering the streets and collaborate with the fire to prevent it from spreading further.
