This Wednesday the graduation ceremony of the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMdP) was held with the first graduates of the Higher School of Medicine (ESM)a course that has been held since 2017 in the city and is directed by Adrián Alasino.
As reported by LA CAPITAL, of the first graduated doctors, 90% are women from Mar del Plata and the others come from Balcarce, Mar de Ajó, Necochea, San Cayetano, Santa Clara del Mar, Pinamar, Comandante Nicanor Otamendi, San Bernardo and Coronel Vidal. The ages range from 23 to 55 years.
At the end of March, 89 students took a complex final exam of clinical competence called ECOE (Objective Structured Clinical Exam), which counted the participation of 49 teachers, 7 actors and 10 administrative support people from the ESM who were part of the evaluation experience. . Several of them received their diploma this Wednesday. The ceremony was held at the Paseo Aldrey Cultural Space, where the graduate doctors took the opportunity to take the classic Hippocratic Oath.
With a full room, the event was carried out with the presence of the rector of the UNMdP, Alfredo Lazzeretti; the academic secretary; Daniel Reynoso; and the deans of the academic units.
“It is a joy to be able to be all together today celebrating a new degree collation from our beloved University,” said the rector who, in addition, was happy because the first doctors received from the National University received their titles.
During the day, the graduates of the Faculties of Architecture, Urbanism and Design also received their distinction; Right; and Exact and Natural Sciences.
