Fujairah, on August 30, / WAM / The Fujairah Government Excellence Program held the first meeting of the senior and executive leaders of the Fujairah government.
The meeting reviewed a set of information regarding the specializations of the Program Office and the projects it is working on, such as the Fujairah Award for Excellence in Government Performance, leadership development, innovation, institutional creativity, strategy and governance.
The importance of leadership development and evaluation of senior and executive leaders was also reviewed in light of the development witnessed in administrative and executive performance by providing the best services to customers and simplifying and facilitating the procedures followed to improve the lives of citizens and residents by adopting innovative and non-traditional practices in government work that reflect an advanced level of distinguished leader.
During the meeting, a workshop was held on the “Fujairah Medal for the Distinguished Leader”, which included comprehensive information regarding the nomination document and the criteria that must be met to qualify for the Distinguished Leader Medal. In addition to highlighting the different areas that are taken into account when appreciating leaders and their contributions to the development of government services and achieving excellence.
It is worth noting that the “Fujairah Medal for the Distinguished Leader” was dedicated to all workers in leadership positions (department manager, director general, executive director, and their deputies) in government agencies, as the effective leader works to lead his department towards the path of excellence boldly, with a focus on foreseeing the future and developing knowledge and human capital.
