Be careful if you have these phones: WhatsApp will soon no longer work on them

As of September 1, popular messaging app WhatsApp will no longer be available on approximately fifty smartphones that are considered obsolete. Therefore, starting this Friday, September 1, all phones running Android 4.0.1 or earlier, as well as iOS 12 or earlier, will no longer be able to access WhatsApp.

The app’s parent company, Facebook, has compiled a list of affected devices. This list includes three models from Samsung, three from Huawei and three from iPhone.

Affected phones:

iPhone: SE, 6s, 6S Plus

Samsung: Galaxy Trend Lite, mini-samsung galaxy, Samsung Galaxy Trend II

Huawei : Ascend G74, Ascend Mate, Ascend Dz

LG : Optimus F7, Optimus L3 II Double, Optimus F5, Optimus L5II, Optimus L5 II Double, Optimus L3 II, Optimus L7 II Double, Optimus L7II, Optimus F6, Adopter, Optimus L4 II Double, Optimus F3, Optimus L4 II, Optimus L2II, Optimus F3Q
