Moroccan international Selim Amallah, 26, has joined FC Valencia, the first division team of the Spanish championship announced on Tuesday evening.
“FC Valencia and Real Valladolid CF have reached an agreement for the arrival of Selim Amallah,” said the team coached by former Spanish international Ruben Baraja in a press release.
“The Moroccan international midfielder is on loan until June 30, 2024 and FC Valence will have a purchase option at the end of the loan”, specifies the same source.
“A few months ago, Selim Amallah participated in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, playing an important role for the Moroccan national team which made history by reaching the semi-finals and finishing fourth in the Cup of the world, ”writes FC Valence on its official website.
Amallah signed up with Real Valladolid last January until June 30, 2027. It was his first experience outside Belgium.
Trained in the youth academies of RAEC Mons and RSC Anderlecht, he began his professional career at Mouscron, then at AFC Tubize, before joining Standard de Liège in 2019.
