[The Epoch Times, August 28, 2023]Shen Yun dancer Rao Deru was born in China. When she was four years old, her father was tortured to death by the Communist Party for practicing Falun Dafa. She fled to Thailand with her mother and came to the United States as a refugee when she was nine years old. Here, she has become an excellent dancer, telling stories of faith and courage with the art form of pure kindness and beauty, and sharing the traditional values of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance with audiences all over the world.
