The Spanish public prosecutor’s office announced on Monday that it would open a preliminary investigation into alleged “sexual assault” in the case of the forced kiss of Spanish football boss Luis Rubiales on a player during Spain’s coronation at the World Cup.
The prosecution will investigate “facts which might constitute an offense of sexual assault”, indicated the public prosecutor’s office in a press release sent to AFP, inviting Jennifer Hermoso to contact the prosecution of the National hearing “within 15 days” in order to be “informed of his rights as a victim” and to “file a complaint” if necessary.
