Manu came to the world stage following winning a silver medal in the Asian Athletics Championship. The Indian star’s performance on the world stage, which faced visa problems, is very bright.

Devarakesavi Prakash Manu, abbreviated as DP Manu. Manu was born on January 24, 2000 in Hassan, Karnataka. Manu’s training was under Kashinath Naik at the Army Sports Institute, Pune. At first, Manu might only throw the javelin to 65 meters. Coach Kashinath found that a body of over six feet was ideal for a javelin player. The growth of javelin star DP Manu started there.

Manu marked his personal best in the Inter State Athletic Championship held in June 2022. Manu javelin reached 84.35 meters. Manu finished fourth in the championship. Manu had the likes of Neeraj Chopra and Shivpal Singh before him. Manu managed to throw the javelin over 80 meters in five of the nine championships he participated in in 2022.

Manu’s first international mission was the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. This Karnakadakar has secured the fifth position in the Commonwealth Games. Neeraj Chopra is Manu’s enthusiasm and confidence in every championship. Manu did not have a visa to travel abroad until 2021. Coach Kashinath Naik applied for Manu’s visa.

Manu’s parents are farmers in a coffee estate in Karnataka. Getting coached by Neeraj and Shivpal Singh turned Manu’s career around. Next up is the Asian Games. India can expect a medal from Manu if the current consistency continues.
